The project leader of Reshaping Nobility: Formation of the New Christian Elite in Ottoman Serbia (15th-18th Century), Dr. Tatjana Katić, and project team member, Dr. Dragana Amedoski, participated in the scientific conference “Social and Geographical Conditions in the Development of Central Potarje and Polimlje”, held by the Homeland Museum of Pljevlja on October 24 and 25, 2024, in Pljevlja. On the first day, Dr. Tatjana Katić co-chaired the session with Academician Slavenko Terzić. On the same day, she presented the latest results of her research with the paper “Noble Estates as Caravanserais and the Core of New Settlements in the Late Middle Ages and Early Modern Period”, while Dr. Dragana Amedoski presented her work on “Contributions to the History of Husejn Pasha’s Mosque (17th Century)”.
